MHF Furniture Limited is a family owned company, manufacturing furniture primarily to the UK hospitality sector. The management are actively looking to expand the business, focusing on timber based product ranges manufactured and finished in the MHF Montford workshops.
Job Description –
The management are looking to fill a diverse role primarily based at the MHF works unit near Shrewsbury. We envisage the role to be full-time, equivalent to 40 hours in a standard working week. The successful applicant can anticipate excellent opportunities to use their practical skill sets, communication strengths and team participation, making a significant contribution to this growing business.

The position will require the successful candidate to bring relevant skill sets and work experience that will directly benefit the company with a ‘hands on’ practical approach.
Key skills include:
a) Ability to implement best practise methods of working and problem solving
b) Assembly – experience in use of simple hand-tools and cordless drivers
c) Ability to organise and maintain storage areas to facilitate efficiencies within the company
d) Stock monitoring and reporting on a range of workshop consumables
e) Driving – own transport essential (to & from work). Clean license advantageous (see below)
f) Van driving experience (max 3.5T) – not essential but an advantage
g) Forklift – not essential but an advantage
