Location: Hybrid/South & Central Aberdeenshire

Salary: £22,426 – £23,635 pro rata

If you’re looking for a rewarding career and to work within an inspirational team that really does make a difference, this is your opportunity to join our WELL Aberdeenshire service.

WELL Aberdeenshire provides direct access to a community-based team of Practitioners and Volunteers. The team delivers short-term support to help people feel well, empowered and linked locally. Your role will be to develop and grow a team of Peer Volunteers who can enhance the positive impact of the support we provide.

We value the importance of lived, and living, experience within our teams as a powerful aid to overcoming barriers to mental wellbeing. Drawing on your own personal experience of recovery from mental health challenges, you will promote self-management strategies and inspire hope in achieving personal goals.

As a Volunteer Coordinator you will take the lead in bringing our vision for embracing volunteering to reality. From promoting volunteering opportunities through to managing a pool of Volunteers, you will develop and coordinate activities which encourage participation and engagement. You will also draw on your local knowledge of resources within South & Central Aberdeenshire.

Driving license and access to a car are essential for this role.

We want you to grow and thrive! We will support you on your own career path; developing new skills, accessing formal and informal learning experiences and providing opportunities to put your continual progress into practice.
