The Neonatal Unit at Portsmouth Hospitals University Trust has an
exciting opportunity to recruit for a trainee ANNP (Advanced Neonatal Nurse
Practitioner). The successful applicant will be enrolled on the accredited Advanced
Practice in Neonatal Care training programme at Southampton University,
starting September 2023. All clinical and mentoring provision will be provided
by the friendly and supportive medical team on the Neonatal Unit, with the theoretical
learning being conducted by the University.On completion of the course you will join a small, forward-thinking and well
supported team of ANNPs who are passionate about delivering high quality care
to our vulnerable patients and their families. You will complete a period of
consolidation while awaiting formal qualification at Band 7, and then will be
promoted to an 8a when you are working independently on the SHO rota. We have an established team of ANNPs who, along with a
Consultant Supervisor, will continue to assist you in your professional development
and learning needs.
