Band 5 Therapeutic Radiographer
The Berkshire Cancer Centre is looking for an enthusiastic and flexible Band 5 radiographer to join our team.
Despite the challenges of COVID we have expanded our use of SGRT and moved to tattoo less treatments for all sites. In line with National recommendations and the expansion of SABR provision, we now treat lung cancer using SABR and oligomets
The Berkshire Cancer Centre is equipped with 2 CT scanners and 4 Elekta linacs; 2 of these machines are the newest Versa linacs and SGRT is available on 3 of our machines.
Superficial treatments are provided via a Gulmay unit
Radiographer-led services are provided for palliative and Brachytherapy treatments with Consultant posts looking after our palliative and breast patients
The department is committed to further study linked to our strategic vision and funding may be available for MSc modules and relevant study days.
