Role and Responsibilities
• Delivering furniture to customers’ homes
• Adhering to the safe working measures in place re Covid-19
• Loading and unloading assigned vehicle, checking security of the load for transit
• Assemble/unpack items delivered as required
• Providing a good customer experience
• Checking the vehicle to ensure it is road worthy and is clean, neat & tidy
• Ensuring returned packaging etc is properly set aside for organised recycling as appropriate

Candidate Requirements
• Driving and delivery experience, ideally in a furniture environment
• Physically fit to enable off-loading, assembly and movement of goods
• Experience of driving 7.5 tonne (or above considered – 10 & 12 tonne)
• Good communication skills both with customers and colleagues
• A careful approach to minimise damage to delivered items
• Team focused – helpful and supportive to colleagues
• A ‘can-do’ attitude

Skills & Qualifications
• Driving license essential for minimum 7.5 tonne
• Driver CPC essential, or working towards it
• Manual handling skills
