Escape Recruitment are working exclusively with our Manufacturing client based in Renfrewshire. They are looking to take on a Skilled CNC Machinist who have experience of Milling and/or Turning on a permanent basis
Main purpose of job
Operate CNC machine tools in the manufacturing department, specifically in Rotor manufacturing. This includes milling, turning, grinding, and balancing.
My client have WFL Millturns, Holroyd Grinding/Milling machines, Danobat cylindrical grinders, Schenk balancing machines and manual lathes.
All CNC machines have Siemens controls.
Hours of work – Mon – Thurs; 8am-4.15pm Fri; 8am-2pm whilst training then on to shift pattern (training can take up to 6 weeks to complete)
Shift Hours – 3 x 12 hours days / 3 x 12 hours nights: rotating.
Pay – £29,500 basic salary with a 42% uplift for your shift pattern – £41,890 (£22ph with shift allowance)
OT – Overtime is regularly available and paid at time & half for all hours worked.
