Medically Opitmised for Dishcharge Ward which cares for 32 patients with
complex discharge planning needs. The Senior Sister will be responsible for overseeing
the day-to-day running of the clinical area and with support from the Matron be
the named responsible and accountable person for governance, finance and staff
management. The Senior Sister
is a key person within the Muliti-Disciplinary Team across Gernal Internal
Medicine and plays a key role on ensuring patient needs are advocated within
this.
