For over 25 years, they have been delivering high quality care to young people who need to be looked after.ACAD is a well-established residential childcare and education provider based across Scotland and have been providing residential childcare service since 2001.Reporting into the Senior Resourcing Business Partner, the Senior Recruitment Consultant plays a pivotal role for delivering the recruitment and onboarding strategies for your small division. You will build close and effective working relationships with operations and key stakeholders, delivering a robust commercial resourcing plan aimed to deliver against company and divisional targets.Providing leadership to a small team and managing your own workload, you will be someone who works well under pressure and can handle a diverse number of workloads. You will be supported by an experienced team around you, a team of 48 in total! And will have opportunity to learn and grow in your role.To deliver these objectives, the post holder will: Oversee a small team of Field Based Recruiters and Administrators, with direct support and supervision from the Senior Resourcing Business Partner Partner with key stakeholders and operational leaders to ensure a smooth, efficient and effecting resourcing and onboarding service is delivered Promote and deliver best practice, leading from the front in a hands-on leadership role Develop and deliver new innovative ideas aimed to support our services nationally at recruitment and onboarding candidates in an engaging and timely manor Manage the end to end recruitment cycle for your own portfolio of work, working as a part of a Resourcing and Onboarding team Share ideas and work collaboratively with your other R&O Teams, MDT and stakeholders Provide detailed analytical MI Travel to key priority sites as part of your Recruiter and Leadership roleYou will ideally have: Minimum of 4 years’ experience as a Recruiter – Inhouse, Agency or in a similar role Experience within the healthcare / social care sector preferred Proven track record with all contemporary attraction and recruitment techniques and practice Hands on experience with all selection processes – phone screening, face to face interviewing, reference checking and PVG processes etc Ability to organise skills assessment centres and manage Jobs Fairs and Recruitment Open Days Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems Articulate, proactive and professional Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong decision-making, negotiation and influencing skills Clean Full Driving LicenseBenefitsAs part of this role, we offer a range of specialist training programmes to support you in your work and invest in your professional development.
