We are looking for an experienced radiographer with excellent clinical skills in CT scanning. You will become a valuable member of a team of specialist radiographers delivering a quality led and timely CT service. Training of rotational radiographers in all areas of CT will be required ensuring all staff are up to date with new protocols/policies and procedures. You will be expected to work closely alongside the CT Superintendent and deputise in their absence. You will also be responsible for assisting with the performance of personal review and appraisal for junior members of staff within the CT team.Our busy CT departments undertake a wide variety of scans across two sites, including out of hours emergency scanning, plus specialist procedures: Colonography, cardiac and biopsy/drainages. You will ideally have experience in cardiac CT.Whilst this post is for a CT specialist radiographer you will also be expected to
rotate through the general imaging department maintaining skills in general radiography, fluoroscopy, theatres and dental radiography.We actively encourage staff to undertake continuing professional development and extension of the radiographers role. The successful candidate will be given the opportunity to extend their role in line with service needs.
