Morgan Hunt are currently recruiting for a well established public sector organisation, who require a Senior Interaction Designer on a 6 month contract. This role can be based in either Glasgow or Edinburgh.

Role Responsibilities

Curate and develop digital design system.
Test and communicate ideas by building and iterating prototypes.
Design user-centred interfaces and transaction flows
Take charge on coding standards in front-end delivery.
Create standards for testing the quality of user interfaces.
Build modular UI components.
Collaborate with user researchers, designers, and front-end developers.
Ensure UK GOV, Scottish Government, legislative and accessibility standards are being met.

Role Requirements

Ability to design systems for use across multiple services.
Experience in sing Axure prototyping tools
Skilled in front-end development technologies such as valid HTML (5), CSS and Typescript
Understanding of modern JavaScript frameworks and libraries
Experience of coding to meet standards agreed by wider IT departments, including WAI WCAG 2.2 (A-AAA) and WAI ARIA coding techniques.
Familiarity with Government Digital Services Design System and ScotGov

Role Details

6-month contract (possibility of extension)
Hybrid Working-must attend office 2/3 times a week
Edinburgh or Glasgow based.
£450-£480 per day
