We are a supportive team that values innovation, fosters development and is passionate about the care of older people and their families.We are looking for a qualified Clinical Psychologist to join our team (0.9wte) providing high quality community services to older people within Mid Surrey. The Mid Surrey Older Adult Community Mental Health Team work with those over 65-years who are faced with mental health and/or memory problems.Our Psychology department recognise the importance of support for team members, have regular CPD sessions, externally provided skills workshops (e.g. CAT, CFT) and access to specialist neuropsychology supervision monthly in addition to regular clinical supervision and management supervision. Our Trust is a pilot site for the Transformation agenda opening
up further opportunities to train and develop skills allied to expanding and developing services and specialisms. Our department has expanded in the past few years allowing for opportunities to take forward clinician interests, with strong links to local training courses and we value the contribution of our Trainee Psychologists.We offer a comprehensive induction, with regular supervision, and peer support network. We value the contribution of our team and are able to offer some flexibility of working around service need, including both remote and in-person aspects of working.
