Are you ready to join a dynamic and supportive team?
If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you!
We are currently recruiting for Teaching Assistants to join our team at a school that supports students aged between 4 and 19 years old, with SEN and other complex medical needs. Bright airy classrooms, state of the art resources and large outdoor spaces give the school a friendly and welcoming feel.
We have positions starting after Easter, which are term time only and 40 hours a week. No evenings or weekend shifts.
As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with the classroom teacher to support children with a range of needs, including Autism, learning disabilities, behavioural challenges, and physical disabilities. You will work on a 1:1 basis and also with small groups. You will have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of these children, helping them to achieve their academic and personal goals.
We are looking for candidates who are enthusiastic, patient, and compassionate. Previous experience working with children with Autism, SEN or challenging behaviour is desirable but not essential, as full training will be provided.
You should have excellent communication skills, be able to work well as part of a team, and be willing to learn and develop your skills. In return, we offer a competitive salary, a supportive and inclusive working environment, and the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of vulnerable children.
If you are interested in this exciting opportunity, please submit your CV! This role is open to receiving applications over the next two weeks. Within a week of the closing date, appropriate applicants will begin a three-stage interview process, after which shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend the final stage of the interview process with appropriate school leadership.
