We are currently supporting a growing special school in Leatherhead, Surrey that is looking to build their team of SEN Teaching Assistants to support pupils with additional needs.
As an SEN Teaching Assistant (SEN TA), you will provide high quality and friendly support to the class teacher & learners within the classroom. The successful SEN Teaching Assistants in Leatherhead, Surrey must share the ambitions of the school and be able to create a positive learning environment for all pupils. You will meet the needs and requirements of all pupils to build a better and brighter future for them.
SEN Teaching Assistant job role:
Supporting the pupils in the class.
Supporting learners with additional needs such as Autism and communication needs.
Working with the class teacher to ensure pupil’s learning and emotional needs are met.
Supporting teaching and learning certificates is desirable but not essential.
SEN Teaching Assistant Requirements:
Experience in working with and supporting young people in a special school is desirable.
Be able to communicate with school staff, parents, and carers.
Certificates in supporting teaching and learning would be an advantage.
Available 5 days a week 08:30 – 15:30.
Commutable to Leatherhead, Surrey.
Available Monday to Friday.
