SCIENCE FELLOW
Full-time from September 2023

Shrewsbury seeks to appoint a recent graduate to join the School’s Science Faculty for a period of one year, with the possibility of extension. The successful candidate will be expected to teach a reduced timetable of Biology, Chemistry or Physics, depending on their area(s) of expertise. They will also be expected to contribute to the School’s thriving pastoral and co-curricular programmes.

This post would be ideal for someone wishing to gain initial experience in the teaching profession and to gain key skills and knowledge in one of the country’s leading boarding schools. We would welcome applications from those in their final year at university, recent graduates or recent post-graduates.

The successful candidate will be able to enjoy a programme of continuous professional development and many of our Fellows go on to complete their formal teacher training qualifications either by gaining a full-time post in the School, or by using the experience to secure a place on a recognised course elsewhere.
The salary for the post is competitive and accommodation will be available.
