We are currently seeking talented support workers to join our agency and be placed on an ad-hoc basis with a well-established charity that has over 40 years of experience in providing support for women and young parents who are homeless or at risk of homelessness, as well as those who have experienced domestic abuse.
As a support worker, you will be responsible for delivering front line service delivery to the highest quality, and empowering service users to build up the skills and resources they need to take on a tenancy of their own. You must be accountable, responsible, and have knowledge of the sector, as well as the ability to work both alone and within a team.
We understand that life is busy, so you can pick and choose as many or as little shifts as you like, that’s the great think about being a bank worker. The shifts vary, we have days, lates and sleeps.
In addition, knowledge and ability to safeguard is essential, and a driver’s license is preferred but not essential. You will be working through Brook Street Social Care, an agency with over 30 years of experience, and part of the global ManpowerGroup, a company with multiple awards for excellence and a commitment to diversity and inclusion.
To apply for this role, you must have:
Six months of UK experience within the past 12 months.
One full year of UK experience within the past five years.
You will also need a Children and Adults DBS for this service, which we will apply for if you don’t hold one.
This is an ideal role for someone looking for a few shifts a week or an extra income, and we work with multiple clients across Merseyside and Cheshire, so you can always pick up shifts elsewhere if you fancy.
