A brand-new position has been created for our client in Stafford Park, Telford within the high achieving Quality Assurance Team for a motivated individual to help further drive system improvements through auditing and data collection. As a new position in a small team the right candidate will have the opportunity to develop and grow within this roleThe Quality Assurance Technician will report directly to and work closely with the Quality Manager. The role sits outside the day-to-day Quality Control Checks and audits completed in the factory and instead encompasses in depth systems audits, system reviews and the collating of consumer complaint data and non-conformances to aid in driving improvementMain Responsibilities
• Generating monthly Quality management review reports & meeting minutes
• Internal annual audits of factory and laboratory systems
• Reviewing raw material specifications, including annual reviews
• Helping to prepare customer finished product specifications
• Annual updates to quality procedures where/when required
• Supporting with the implementation of a new Quality Management System
• Customer and consumer complaints; investigating causes and communicating results
• Consumer complaints – Trend analysis
The Ideal Candidate
• Great communication skills with the ability to communicate with all levels of staff, as well as with Suppliers and Customers
• Excellent writing skills for report writing
• Good Maths skills for collating data and trending results
• Enjoys working in a fast-moving environment
• Able to work independently and with close association with the Quality Manager
• Confident in communicating their ideas for improvement and taking action to drive improvement within the Assurance Team
• Educated to at least A-level standard or equivalent with good results
• Previous experience working in a manufacturing environment would be useful, but not essential, as full training will be provided.
Package Description
• Permanent Contract of 39.5 hours per week, some flexibility required.
• Starting Rate £24,150 with the potential to earn up to £28,301
