Our client is a local manufacturing business based in Burton on Trent who are part of a large group. They are known for their high-quality product and reputation for being a world class business. They are looking for a Temporary Purchase Ledger Clerk for their finance team.
You will work in a shared service environment in a medium sized finance team reporting to the Shared Service Leader. This role is working in purchase ledger, responsible for matching invoices against PO numbers, processing invoices, dealing with queries, setting up new suppliers and dealing with international payments. You will deal with high volumes of invoices, ensuring stock reconciles against delivery notes and reconciliation of supplier statements . You will also be looking after company expenses and ensuring all data is imputing correctly on to the Nav system.
You will have a good working knowledge of the AP function. The ability to work well in a team, deal with high volumes of invoices and like to be kept busy. The role will suit someone who is happy reconciling data and inputting high volumes of invoices. This role could also suit a graduate looking for their first step into an accounts function. The role is an immediate start, and you will be available for a week by week temporary cover.
