A vacancy has arisen for a dedicated and enthusiastic Pupil Support Worker to join the nursery team at Bathgate Early Years Centre. This position is full time (36 hours) and is a 52 week position. The setting is open 7.45am to 6.20pm and staff will be expected to work a shift pattern between these hours.
You will have knowledge and experience of current early learning and childcare provision and procedures. With experience of working with children, and register with or currently seeking registration with the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC) as a support worker. The post is subject to Enhanced Disclosure.
This post is considered Regulated Work with Vulnerable Children and/or Protected Adults, under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. Preferred candidates will be required to join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme update check prior to a formal offer of employment being made by West Lothian Council.
