Play Development Officer

30 Hours

We are looking for an enthusiastic and dynamic individual with a passion for developing play opportunities for children and young people to join a forward thinking, motivated team.

You will be passionate about using the borough’s green spaces, schools and community settings to promote play, making Rugby a great place to grow up by supporting the growth and development of young people. You will lead our team of Play Rangers, deliver a range of play events and have the opportunity to shape and develop the play service within Rugby. It is key that you have good communication skills, and the ability to develop excellent working partnerships with coaches, schools and other internal and external partners.

You will need a flexible approach to work, a background in play, recreation or child development, be experienced in strategic planning for play and able to source external funding.
