As a Platform Onboarding Consultant you’ll work with the Intermediaries business during the on-boarding phase to ensure a successful launch and integration of our Platform and processes.
Responsibilities and Activities you’ll be involved in are:
Collaborate with intermediaries to explore and analyse their current on-boarding and support needs
Build a customised roll out and training plan where required
Adopt a structured, project management approach utilising appropriate tools, when delivering on-boarding plans to larger or key Intermediaries
Attend and support pre terms of business and early sales pitches as the technical Platform SME
Provide ongoing support and reviews to intermediaries and their support staff to ensure they further develop
Manage relationships that sustain profitable growth & support the overall Sales Distribution Strategy
Work alongside the Business Development Managers in exploring opportunities across the wider panel in both new engagement opportunities as well as deepen existing relationships
Identify & complete the training needs of intermediaries and their support staff to ensure they are competent in using the Platform
To provide feedback into the various Platform development groups about issues with functionality and changes in market/competitor practices
Location & Ways of Working
This role is offered on a “home based” workstyle with frequent travel for face-to-face meetings across the North West or South West of England region
You’ll be fully empowered to manage your own diary in order to achieve the role’s performance objectives
Skills & Experience we’re looking for:
Essential
Retail Platform onboarding knowledge and experience
Relationship management experience, in building both new and deepening existing relationships preferably in a field-based capacity
Customer centric and a strong eye for support & development opportunities
Ability to work effectively in a team environment contributing to the overall success of the Distribution team
Exceptional communication skills, with a demonstrated ability and desire to be ‘hands on’
Proven ability to work at pace in an environment of complexity and time-based pressure, retaining high levels of accuracy and control throughout
Desirable
Training qualification/experience and or project management-based qualification/experience desirable
Diploma in Financial Services or willing to work towards gaining this within 2 years.
