Private employer looking to recruit a part-time personal assistant to provide companionship and support to access and participate in social activities for a young woman who is a wheelchair user, living in Bankfoot, for 9 hours per week.

Supported Person is keen to get out and about more freely (with support), focused primarily on social activities (going for coffee, cinema etc).

Experience in the care sector is required. Applicants must have a friendly, caring and understanding attitude. Supported person has a keen interest in animals and music, so this would be a common ground, if successful candidate has similar interests.

Personal Assistant hourly rate: £12.42

Self Employed Carers will be considered – hourly rate: £16.16

Must be part of the PVG (Protecting Vulnerable Groups) Scheme or willing to become part of the scheme.
