PART-TIME PERSONAL ASSISTANT REQUIRED
PERTHSHIRE (Aberuthven)

Private employer looking to recruit a part-time personal assistant to provide transport to and from a Day Centre in Perth and companionship/support afterwards for an elderly gentleman with Dementia living in Aberuthven, 5 hours per week on a Wednesday.

The key activities will include:

8am – 10.30am: Assist to get organised for going to the day club and support with breakfast, travel to Perth and drop off at Day Club.

3pm – 5.30pm: Collect from Day club (3pm) and support at home with an activity or out in the community for remainder of the day.

Proven experience in the care sector is required. Applicants must have a friendly, caring and understanding attitude.

Must have a valid clean driving licence and use of own car with business insurance.

Supported Person speaks Swiss-German and due to his dementia often communicates in this language, so would be ideal if someone had this skill-set to communicate with him but not essential.

Personal Assistant hourly rate: £12.42 / Self Employed Carers will be considered – hourly rate: £16.16

Must be part of the PVG (Protecting Vulnerable Groups) Scheme or willing to become part of the scheme within a defined period of time.
