What you’ll be doing…
This role is part of our wonderful Outbound Team carrying our service calls to new customers as well as reaching out to existing customers with the aim of gaining insight and passing on information that helps the customer to be fully conversant with the many ways to shop with Riverford
The teams primary aim is to welcome, inform and support customers from the outset on their customer journey ensuring account details are correct, that the customer is comfortable using the website, the product range, the ordering process, and order alteration cut off times.
Many of these customers will be new customers that have just placed their first order, have recently received an order, or have opened an account and never placed an order. The aim is to assist the customer to become self-sufficient in relation to placing, altering, adding to, or cancelling orders and to use the necessary tools provided whether that be help, web chat and customer support through email or phone support to assist themselves further where necessary.
The team also reach out to customers for any other direct communication requested by the business.
Skills & Experience…
Customer Service experience would be desirable
Articulate and communicative with a clear and fluent standard of spoken English, an engaging manner and an enjoyment of talking to people
Confident in making outbound calls and establishing a dialogue
Working knowledge of excel with good all-round IT skills, capturing all details correctly to ensure a smooth customer journey
Able to work both on own initiative and within a team environment
Organised with excellent attention to detail
What are the hours? Working 32 hours per week, spread over 4 or 5 days.
What are we paying? £24,352.62 per annum
Location….Based at Wash Barn, Buckfastleigh, Devon TQ11 0JU with a hybrid system with some working from home.
