If you have ambitions to play a key part in driving our business forwards, then we want you to join us at an exciting time of development and growth to realise your full potential.Job title:Mobile Fabric Engineer – ProjectsLocation:Mobile – DorsetSalary:£28,000 to £32,000 per year, depending on experience + Van and fuel card + Benefits (Listed below)Job type: PermanentAbout usHere at BJF, we have a fantastic opportunity to join our exciting and expanding construction biased business, where YOU can help support the FM division as a fabric engineer.Working with a large portfolio of public and private sector clients, our UK based organisation comprises of several divisions including Mechanical & Electrical, Construction, Projects, Reactive, FM, Small Works and other associated trades.BJF Values:- Trust – We are open, honest and transparent- Excellence – We aim to be the best in everything we do- Agility – We adapt to meet the needs of our clients- Motivation – We are always striving to grow and evolve- Safety – We care about everyone’s wellbeingYour responsibilities:- Respond to reactive calls, carry out first fix where possible and scoping quotes for repair where first fix is not possible, ensuring minimum downtime.- Carry out all planned building / fabric maintenance tasks as per program and keep accurate auditable records of works planned and completed.- To ensure that the site is kept in good decorative order internally and externally – and to given specification and ensure timely completion.- Working within all Health and Safety criteria and processes relevant to work activities.- Show a proactive approach to Health & safety in the work environment and take the necessary steps to ensure risks are mitigated.- Client facing, therefore maintaining high standards of customer care- Be flexible and undertake other reasonable duties to accommodate operational requirements.What you’ll bring:- Experience of planned preventative maintenance and reactive works / tasks completed within KPI’s- Previous experience working on projects divisions.- Repairs following a Periodic Electrical Installation Condition Report.
