The Women & Newborn Care Group has an exciting opportunity to join the team as a Medical Staffing Administrator. This role is perfect for someone who already has administritive experience looking to progress . The Women & Newborn Care Group consists of Maternity, Gynaecology, Breast and Neonates working alongside Child Health and Clinical Support Services within Division C.
As a Medical Staffing Administrator you will be supporting Consultant Rota Leads, Consultant and Junior Dr’s. The role is varied day to day, playing a key part in supporting completion of rota’s, annual leave planning and leading new intakes.
You will be working closely alongside a friendly and integral team of management and admin staff.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
WHAT YOU’LL DO
• Provide operational administration support to the Women & Newborn Department.
• Record all absences and confirm correct allocation of staff, updating calendars and rotas accordingly, to ensure service delivery is not impacted and changes are communicated to operational leads. Stay up to date with current status of medical recruitment, leave and sickness highlighting warnings on the system i.e. high levels of sickness, to appropriate line manager.
• Link with other roster creators of the multi professional teams to ensure service demands are met. To be responsive to service needs and escalate where workforce and activity are not aligned
• To ensure all relevant Medical ERosters are maintained correctly and submitted in a timely manner for payroll for additional payments
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
A friendly, reliable and motivated applicant with strong IT skills and a key eye for detail. You need to be educated to GCSE level grade C or above including maths and English with significant experience in an administration focused environment. You will be able to demonstrate strong prioritisation skills and be excellent at communicating with multi professional teams. You will need to be able to demonstrate the importance of data protection and confidentiality as well as working to ensure our trust values are met.
