Dorset Healthcare is responsible for the provision of Memory Assessment Services (MAS) across the county and nationally it has been recognised that Dementia is an area of health significance with an ever-increasing ageing population. If you are passionate about Dementia and want to join our supportive multi-disciplinary teams across the county, you will be joining caring, enthusiastic, skilled and dedicated staff teams. We regularly achieve over 96% positive feedback in the Patient Experience Surveys and we are proud to be innovative in our practice. We regularly participate in research studies and we are working towards accreditation on the Memory Services National Accreditation Programme developed by The Royal College of Psychiatrists. You will be joining a friendly, dynamic, professional multi-disciplinary team in a high paced environment where a flexible and adaptable approach with excellent multi-tasking abilities
as well as a good understanding of Microsoft Office and a minimum of RSA/OCR II Typing / word processing qualification or equivalent is required. You will be based in The MAS East team at Alderney Hospital, Poole. Home visits and clinics take place across the whole of the county and working from home is also an essential aspect of the role going forward.
