Maternity Cover – Marketing Communications Manager

I am working with an organisation in the education sector looking for a Marketing Communications professional to join their team for maternity cover.
Your new role
This role is working within the education sector to oversee all marketing communications activities and outputs. The role will ensure marketing communications are clear, consistent, targeted and effective, aligning the organisations key messages across a range of communication channels, both online and offline, and bringing to life the guiding principles with engaging and audience-focused content.
Some of the responsibilities include:
Work with the digital marketing manager team to develop engaging blog, news and PR content that can be optimised for web use, ensuring it is kept up-to-date, with clear, engaging and accessible material that supports the digital content strategy and is consistent with the organisations principles.
Employ appropriate social media analytics tools to be able to capture the sentiment voice and measurements of social media channels, working with external agencies as required, and provide regular reports to the Customer Engagement Director.
Provide overall editorial control for communications, ensuring appropriate content, tone, brevity and consistency.
Develop and implement a communications plan to support the introduction of key staff providing a platform on which to build their public profile according to agreed objectives.
