An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our Skin Cancer Clinical Specialist team .
Are you a compassionate , caring and communicative individual looking to grow your career in a world class teaching hospital ? Then this Support Woker role could be the ideal opportunity for you . We are looking for motivated, passioante and enthusiastic nurses to join our team. This is a part time flexible role Monday to Friday between 8.30 to 17.00 hrs.

We are the UHS Skin Cancer Nurse Specialists team, based in the Princess Ann but work across Southampton General Hospital and the Royal South Hants Hospital .
Our team is made up of passionate Oncology and Dermatology Nurses . We work closely
with the wider multidisciplinary team on a day to day basis including Dermatolgists , Medical and Clinical Oncologists , Plastic and Maxillo-facial surgeons.
Our role is to support the skin cancer patients along their pathway right from diagnosis to surgery and treatments.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
WHAT YOU’LL DO

As part of your role, you will
• Support the CNS team
• Support Skin Cancer patients.
• Integrate with the CNS and the MDT team to plan and develop care
• Use your skills and knowledge to assess and support patients.
• Be responsible for the stock checking and ordering leaflets and information booklets.
• To support the PIFU (Patient Initiated Follow-up) pathway
• To collect and action the HNA (Holistic Needs Assessment )

We are looking for passionate individuals ideally with a background in Oncology/Dermatology with excellent communication skills, interpersonal and IT skills so that they can deal with the diversity of patients.
