Lead Nurse Colposcopy and Gynaecology Specialities | East Sussex Healthcare NHS Trust

Due to changes in the Gynaecology department an exciting opportunity has become available to lead the nurse led Colposcopy service across two sites. As an independent Nurse Practitioner you will lead the service with the support of a Consultant lead for Colposcopy. Working closely with other members of the department you will drive to meet national standards for Colposcopy services and be the Cervical Screening Programme Lead. There is an opportunity to develop other staff in the service and you will also be supported by a Unit Matron. Working closely together to ensure that the patient experience is outstanding.

Outpatient Services are at the centre of a very exciting new era of transformation and this post holder is key to the implementation of the NHS 10 year plan and development of Outpatient services for the population of East Sussex.

To mobilise services in line with the Organisational strategy and in line with values. Clinical practice will be required as essential to the role and development of a workforce in line with national and local guidance. The Lead Nurse will work with the Matron to provide Colposcopy services across the two sites. Working closely with the Consultant Lead to ensure efficient and effective service delivery.
