Duties Include:

Check with works supervisor daily for sawing list.

Identify and retrieve materials for saw from the Steel Store.

Keep saw area clean and tidy and clear of material that is not required

All material to be returned to steel store and racked in correct location

Steel store area to be kept clean and tidy

Clean and sweep up daily in fitting shop

Clean and sweep up daily in machine shop

Check toilets twice daily and ensure they are maintained clean and tidy

Put out bins

Check machines daily and clean out cuttings as required. Check coolants levels and top up as necessary. (These tasks to be coordinated with operators).

Assist fitters if required with any manual handling requirements or cleaning of parts.

Some driving may be required for deliveries and collections of materials.

Assist with loading / unloading transport attending the company for collection or drop-off of goods.
