The BSPS Lighthouse Laboratory Testing Service at Bracknell has been awarded a contract to provide public health testing services. This will initially be for a standby service employing a total of 51 staff members.The service is to be provided until 31st March 2024.
Staff numbers will be substantially increased if testing within the community is increased. After a short ramp-up period, the BSPS Lighthouse Testing Service will operate 24 hours a day, 7 days per week.
Given the standby nature of the contract, BSPS has agreed a number of work assignments, and funding, for staff to undertake training in a number of pathology specialities whilst on standby. Interested candidates must commit to multi-site working, to undertake training, and to be flexible about shift patterns at a number of BSPS/NHS Trust locations including:
