Location: Slough
Working environment: Hybrid, you’d be joining our people team in the Slough office as well as working from home.
Contract: Permanent, Full time
Hours per week: 37.5 hours per week

QA is the UK’s leading tech training and talent solutions organisation, our Head Office is growing to support our most valued asset, our very own people.

As an ER specialist, your main responsibility will be to support our managers and employees directly around important areas of concern including mental health, absence, grievances, general health/illness and performance. You will be a working with a team of experienced People Advisors and Consultants, along with a buzzing support team!

The ER specialist role will also include:

Engaging with external legal partners
Supporting Senior People Partners with organisational change e.g., short term absence, grievance meetings, performance reviews, restructures, TUPE etc.
Keeping on top of right-to-work, immigration and visa processes
Contributing ideas and input into our company wide policies and procedures

Ideally, you’ll have advised on multiple scenarios from being raised at performance/disciplinary through to Employee Tribunal. Finally, you’ll need confidence and tenacity when it comes to advising multiple stakeholders and ensuring actions you’ve advised on are followed up.
