Your new role
This is a new position for a HR Advisor to join a team of 2, reporting into a supportive HR Manager.
My client is looking for someone who thrives in a fast-past environment, is forward-thinking, personable and who has the drive to develop, as they will be involved in all aspects of Recruitment and HR across the UK business, with the opportunity to work with international teams too.
You will be fundamental to the HR department in all aspects to ensure they deliver a culture and office environment that represents the organisation and reflects their values. This is a varied role where you will have the opportunity to expand your knowledge in all areas of HR, Recruitment and Office management to effectively support the business.
Although this role is primarily based in Christchurch (Dorset), you may be required to visit another UK site or rare occasions, so a Driving Licence and access to your own vehicle is required. This position offers flexible working with 3 days office (Christchurch) / 2 days remote per week, but you must have a willingness to change this if needed.
What you’ll need to succeed
This is a varied role that will include: recruitment and onboarding, ER case work, coordinating social events, supporting cultural initiatives, general HR / administrative duties and ad-hoc HR projects.
This position will suit someone with the above experience who is a HR Coordinator / Advisor elsewhere, or someone who has worked in a HR / People / Recruitment role and now wants a step up to a HR Advisor. You do not need to be CIPD qualified, but Level 3 minimum is preferred.
Although a generalist role and job title, there is a bias towards recruitment / onboarding, so this must be an aspect of the role that you are interested in and enjoy. You will partner with Hiring Managers to recruit people across the business that could include white or blue collar roles within Commercial / Production / Technical / IT or Finance teams.
