We are supporting a fantastic educational setting based in Lancing who are looking for a Higher Level Teaching Assistant to join their team.

Teaching Assistants play a crucial role in the classroom. We are seeking an individual who can support our teachers and motivate and encourage our pupils.

About You:

Be excellent practitioners with high expectations of all pupils
Be passionate about child-centred learning
Have excellent organisational and communication skills and enjoy working in a team
Preferably have experience of working with young people
Be able to make a positive contribution to the ethos of our school
Have a firm commitment to inclusion and equal opportunities for all

Criteria for role:

Maths and English GCSE or Equivalent Grade C or above
A good standard of education across a range of subjects
Excellent numeracy/literacy skills – equivalent to NVQ Level 2 in English & Maths
Working knowledge of national curriculum and other relevant learning programmes
Full working knowledge of relevant policies/codes of practice/legislation
