An exciting opportunity has
arisen to join our Sub-Acute Stroke Rehab Unit (SSARU) at South Bristol
Community Hospital (SBCH). We are recruiting a range of permanent roles for our
multi-disciplinary team of therapists, registered nurses and support workers,
as part of plans to improve stroke care regionally.Our SSARU meets the needs of
people who are unable to return home immediately after a hospital stay as they
need specialist rehabilitation following their stroke. The unit consists of 30
beds at South Bristol Community Hospital, which provides a safe environment
where individuals who are medically stable can receive rehabilitation
assessment, along with focused therapy and support from our multidisciplinary
team, to support independence before they return home. Once the person arrives home, their stroke
care is handed over to our Integrated Community Stroke Service (ICSS) at Home
team. Your
role will provide support to the nursing team, collaboratively with the
multidisciplinary team and contribute positively to the delivery of
high-quality, compassionate care centred around the core principles of recovery
and stroke rehabilitation and the patients wishes.If you want to build a career within a community healthcare
