Grounds Maintenance team leader needed in Rugby £20.98ph ref 5225992
This is working full time hours on a temporary basis.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1.1 Provide leadership and direction operational staff within the Grounds Maintenance service area and ensure that the team contributes to its full potential in the delivery on the clients priorities.
1.2 Responsible for all operational issues including the scheduling and planning of maintenance activities to maximise their effectiveness and efficiency in meeting the Client’s aspirations for parks and open space areas, having regard to the resource constraints that exist.
1.3 To ensure that the actions of the Client promote biodiversity and sustainable land management principles and are conducted with appropriate regard to environmental aspirations.
1.4 To actively support the generation of external funding and other business opportunities to assist in the ambition of the service and Client, including the pricing of tenders etc.
Full time hours on a temporary basis.
