Grants Database Project LeadWe are seeking an experienced database project lead, ideally with experience of Salesforce or Blackbaud and grant-making systems.You will be working for a charity that represents 100% of the NHS charity sector in the UK as members. Helping the NHS tackle today’s challenges and tomorrow’s opportunities.Position: Grants Database Project LeadLocation: Hybrid working, with the ability to attend regular face-to-face meetings in Warwick.Salary: Day rate of £350 – based on a pro-rata annual salary of £84,000Contract: 6 months – 8 months Fixed Term contractHours: Full-time – 35 hours per weekThe Role:The Grants Database Project Lead post is a fixed-term role to work closely with the Grants Operations Manager and wider team to procure, develop and embed a Grant Relationship System to get to the point of implementation on a busy and diverse grants team. A key part of the role will also be working with a design partner (tbc) once the systems have been developed to hand over the project to the point where they support the users with day-to-day queries.Some of your Key responsibilities include:- To lead on the Grant Management System implementation project, transferring, cleansing and migrating data from a variety of Microsoft programmes including Excel and Word to a Salesforce/Blackbaud database. This is approximately 3 years’ worth of data from several complex grants programmes and a key role will be supporting the Grants Operations Manager from procurement to the stem implementation stage.- End-to-End project plan for all data migration- Monitor and manage the project to ensure that activities are occurring to plan, including scope and delivery schedule, proactively managing any variances- Produce and maintain relevant project management artefacts including status reports, actions log and milestone reports- Identify potential points of contention for missed deliverables and creates and implements strategies to mitigate any shortfalls- Escalation of significant issues, blockers to the Grants Operations Manager- Managing the day-to-day relationship and project progress with external GMS provider- Ensure additional project goals involved in the roadmap are met, e.g. training and testingAbout you:As Grants Database Project Lead you will ideally have experience of Salesforce or Blackbaud and grant-making systems.You will also need the following knowledge, skills and experience required for this role:- Qualified to PRINCE2 level to demonstrate proven skills in complex project management- Significant experience in planning and execution of projects involving multiple workstreams and multi-disciplinary teams- Qualification in management information systems (MIS) computer science, information systems or information technology- Experience of database management- Advanced analytical, leadership and problem-solving skills- Advanced proficiency in Structured Query Language (SQL)- In-depth knowledge of database technologies, architecture and data security, including web applications- Significant experience in planning and execution of projects involving multiple workstreams and multi-disciplinary teams- Knowledge of ‘relational database management systems’ (RDBMS), ‘object oriented database management systems’ (OODBMS) and XML database management systems- Excellent time management skills and an ability to consistently meet deadlines- Strong reporting and analytical skills.
