As part of Practice Plus Group having recently been awarded the healthcare contract at HMP Onley and Rye Hill, the opportunity has arisen for a General Practitioner to join the talented Healthcare team on site. This role will be an exciting chance to further develop your clinical and medical skills; we have begun delivering services in October 2022.� What will you be doing? As one of the GPs at HMP Rye Hill and HMP Onley, youll provide clinical oversight across a challenging, yet demanding patient group. You will be pivotal in engaging the clinical workforce to support the delivery of the organisations objectives and�will gain insight and training in Mental Health and Substance Misuse. As a member of the Multi-Disciplinary Team, the General Practitioner will provide clinical assessment and diagnosis to patients requirements and make timely decisions regarding future management. You will also
provide a highly specialist resource to other healthcare staff, patients and carers and have active involvement in clinical governance/effectiveness activities. It doesnt end there; you will have a chance to become actively involved in audit, teaching and training (management of substance misuse and/or blood borne viruses) as well as helping us to adapt the service to the ever-changing needs of the patients.
