Our Food Hall Managers are accountable for the leadership and operational standards of the fresh and ambient departments. The successful applicant will be obsessed about our purpose and our customers, delivering the food hall to the highest standards, and ensuring our customers have an outstanding shopping experience.
You will:• Create an Easy, Fast and Friendly shopping experience• Lead HR through the line• Drive a high-performance culture• Own all processes end to end across total food hall• Role model our ‘Leading Asda’ leadership values and challenge the leadership teams to do the same• Embrace and deliver change through effective engagement strategies• Drive legal compliance• Be a custodian of diversity and inclusivity• Identify opportunities and challenges and respond at paceAs part of the leadership team, you will work a three-week rolling rota including weekends, evenings, and late nights. At times, you may be solely responsible for the store, and therefore you will need to be confident in overseeing operation in its entirety.
