FTC contract 12-15 months
Mon to Fri – 37hrs, based at Milton Keynes 1 day a week and then home based
Paying between £43,414,-£51,805pa dependent on experience

They are looking to recruit an experienced fully qualified Finance Business Partner to join them in the Commercial Finance Business Partnering team, supporting the Business Development Unit, which is the part of the University focused on commercial opportunities. The role focuses on:
About the role
Managing a team of finance staff in building partnerships and maintaining strong relationships with senior management stakeholders and their teams
Financial management and regular reporting for the BDU activities and projects
Driving impact and understanding of business performance, KPI’s and key cost drivers of activity, using financial data to inform business strategies
Being the first point of contact for bids, tenders, and new UK and International partnership opportunities, working closely with the legal teams and tax specialists
Supporting systems development and process improvement across Finance & Business Services following the implementation of a new accounting system (SAP)
Skills and experience required:
Must be a qualified CCAB/CIMA Accountant (with membership)
Team development and leadership skills
Track record of financial accounting experience in a similar role in a complex organisation
Excellent understanding with accounting IT packages and systems (especially SAP)
Intermediate to advanced level Excel experience
Confidence in business partner engagement, communication and analytical skills
