St Columba’s Primary School is seeking to appoint a highly motivated Early Years Practitioner within our Nursery team.
The successful candidate will work as part of a forward thinking team, bringing a sound knowledge of child development and will respond to the individual needs of each child, providing high quality interactions and learning and teaching experiences.
St Columba’s Primary School and Nursery serves the Boghall area of Bathgate. Our Nursery class has a 32/32 staffing capacity at present and consists of am, pm and full day learners. Nursery accommodation is attached to the Primary School and consists of a spacious learning room and a large outdoor area.
This position requires registration with the SSSC. The successful candidate will have six months from commencement in this post to register with the SSSC. If you are already registered with SSSC you will be required to add West Lothian Council to your account.
This post is considered Regulated Work with Vulnerable Children and/or Protected Adults, under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. Preferred candidates will be required to join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme update check prior to a formal offer of employment being made by West Lothian Council.
