We are currently recruiting within our Surgical division, the Division is one of six clinical Divisions within University Hospitals Bristol and Weston NHS Foundation Trust, which consists of services delivered at the Bristol Eye Hospital (BEH), Bristol Dental Hospital (BDH), the acute surgical services, critical care and theatres on the main Bristol Royal Infirmary (BRI) site and integrated surgical services at Weston General Hospital.

The portfolio covered by this post is; Critical Care, Theatres, Anaesthesia, ENT and Thoracic surgical services. The post manages three AGMs and has divisional responsibility for Cancer.

The successful candidate will be encouraged to generate and develop ideas, you will need to be an exceptional leader who possesses vision and resilience to join a well-established team.

Under the guidance of the Divisional Director and by working with your colleagues, you will contribute to delivering the operational and performance management of the division on a day to day basis, to ensure the smooth running of the wards and departments, to achieve both excellent clinical care, whilst also supporting the delivery of key national performance metrics.
