The University of St Andrews is looking to appoint a Digital Data Analyst and Content Editor to join the Digital Communications team. The post is key to ensuring the University website is standardised, simplified and consolidated to increase efficiency and improve user experience.

The role will be twofold: firstly, to collect and analyse data to inform the decisions and priorities of the Digital Communications team; secondly, to design, create, edit and update web content (including text, images, audio and video).

The ideal candidate should have excellent writing skills, with particular expertise in writing for the web. The candidate should be able to convey complex information in a clear, concise and engaging manner, for a variety of audiences.

An understanding of accessibility requirements and search engine optimisation would be desirable. The candidate should also have a familiarity with working with media formats for the web (images, video and audio).

This post would start as soon as possible.

Further information and informal enquiries may be directed to Stephen Evans, email: Tel: 01334 462540.
