The aim of this role is to increase and develop the provision of community and inpatient diabetes support and staff training into North Cumbria Integrated Care NHS Foundation Trust (NCIC). The post holder will be an integral member of the Diabetes Service specialist team, providing care, treatment and education to diabetes patients and their families. This will involve working closely with the community network of health care professionals to deliver an integrated package of care between hospital and primary care.
The post holder will work be based in Whitehaven.
