AWS / Typescript Developer, Edinburgh, £450-£475 per day, Out of Scope of IR35. 6 month initial contract

Your new company and role
This new role is with an established public sector organisation, they are now looking for an experienced Typescript developer with strong AWS experience on a 6 month initial contract. An experienced developer is required to accelerate the clients move away from legacy finance systems. The focus of the work will be the collaborative development of new serverless micro-services using AWS Lambda functions and TypeScript/JavaScript. however they still support several legacy systems, hence a working knowledge of shell scripting languages, such as Bash, and Oracle databases, would be a plus.

What you’ll need to succeed
The organisation is looking for an experienced developer with the following skills :

AWS including:
CDK Serverless (Lambda) S3 API Gateway Cloud Formation
Typescript (or modern JavaScript)

It would be beneficial to have experience in Banking and Finance system experience.
