Deputy Ward Manager | Liverpool University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust

This is a band 6 permanent post to provide clinical and managerial leadership to nursing and support staff. Provides clinical supervision to other staff, students. Ensure that all nursing staff, within the ward/ unit adheres to all hospital policies and procedures.

The Acute Medical Unit team are looking for enthusiastic, dynamic and highly motivated nurses, interested in all aspects of acute emergency care.

Band 6 nurses in AMU coordinates a given area within the AMU. Ensuring safe and timely transfer from assessment to ward specialities. The band 6 will also have excellent working relationships across the emergency department and with allied workers. They are also to deputise for band 7. The post holder must act as a good role model.
