We have an exiting opportunity for a passionate and experienced ODP or Theatre Nurse to take the next step in their career by joining our dedicated perioperative team as a Deputy Lead Orthopaedic Practitioner.At KIMS Hospital we have an excellent practice development team who will support your ongoing professional development with comprehensive personal development plans to help you operate at your highest potential.As a Deputy Lead Orthopaedic Practitioner, you will work as alongside the Lead Orthopaedic Practitioner, to assist with the day to day running of orthopaedic lists. You will provide clinical leadership to junior staff and deputise for the Deputy Theatre Manager in their absence, this may involve working flexibly across anaesthetics, scrub and recovery.You will be a strong ODP or Registered Nurse with experience working
within two areas of the perioperative environment as an anaesthetic, scrub and/or recovery theatre practitioner in an acute hospital, either with the NHS or in a private setting. You will have a desire to lead, train and inspire junior members of staff.This role is a full- time role working 37.5 hours per week. Shifts will be 07:30 18:00 4 days per week working between Monday and Saturday. You will be required to work 1 Saturday in 4, and remain on call for that weekend.
