Search Logistics are recruiting a Freight Manager to join one of their clients in Birmingham.
This Opportunity will best suit a experienced individual who has a background in Export / Imports and dealing with the movement of goods by Ocean , Air or road Freight (multimodal).
Overall Purpose of Role :
To lead a Team and ensure a safe and efficient service.
Dealing with all H&S Enquirers and Operating compliance
Dealing with Key stake holders in the business on a daily basis
Team Development, One to Ones , recruitment and skill based training
Ability to manage a budget and cost control of a depot ( P/L)
Dealing with Multiple Operations
Ideal Candidate:
Strong Management of staff
Strong knowledge of compliance
Understanding of Transport and Logistics movements
