The Dementia Support Worker will ensure that people are treated with respect and dignity, your approach is empathetic, compassionate, and focused on ensuring their life is the best it can be, promoting the strengths and abilities of each person.In specially designed areas, you will engage with individuals, ensuring you understand their needs, encourage, assist, and support people to participate in appropriate leisure activities and activities of daily living, normalising life as much as possible with joy and
happiness.This role does involve aspects of personal care and you may support individuals who show signs of being distressed. With support from the team, you will receive tailor made dementia training to enhance your skills and the lives of people living with dementia.
