What will you be doing?
We have a fantastic opportunity available for an experienced and competent finance administrator to join and support our Information Systems & Technology function. The successful candidate will handle IT purchasing, invoicing and general requests, whilst supporting the IS&T Asset Co-ordinator with supplier management and asset tracking.
Provide a high level of administrative support to the IS&T department.
Ensure a prompt end-to-end purchasing service: Purchase Ordering, Goods Receipting, Invoice Management in line with SLA’s, ensuring payment deadlines are met.
Administration and tracking of CapEx, OpEx and manual payment requests.
Liaise with 3rd parties to review and consolidate vendor account statements.
Produce reports that contribute to asset management and budget control.
Respond to enquiries from internal colleagues as well as external suppliers and associates.
Small projects as required for the IS&T department.
Coordinate the retrieval of aged IT equipment as necessary.
What are we looking for?
GCSE including English and Maths.
Previous experience working within a responsible busy finance administrative role.
Time management skills and ability to demonstrate flexibility where reactive requests are received.
Attention to detail, combined with strong analysis skills in order to complete accurate reporting.
Ability to communicate effectively when working remotely from the managers you are supporting.
